Voya allows users to access reliable and cost-effective roaming services without the need for a physical SIM card.

Batelco , under the Beyon Group , has introduced Voya, an innovative eSIM-based roaming solution designed for global travelers who prioritize staying connected wherever they go. As the first eSIM service of its kind launched in Bahrain, Voya is available to users worldwide, not just Batelco customers, and works across all mobile network providers.

Voya allows users to access reliable and cost-effective roaming services without the need for a physical SIM card. With prices starting from just BD2, travelers can activate their data plans within minutes via the Batelco app or website. Once set up, users enjoy seamless data connectivity across over 140 international destinations.

As a fully digital product, Voya is compatible with any eSIM-enabled device, giving users the freedom to stay connected on their terms. Setup is simple customers just enter their email address to receive and activate the eSIM. The platform also offers the ability to switch between networks at a destination, helping users find the best available coverage and maintain stable internet access wherever they are.

To add extra value, Batelco is also offering complimentary travel insurance for a limited time, making Voya not just convenient, but travel-friendly and worry-free.

According to Aseel Mattar, General Manager of Consumer at Batelco, this launch marks a significant step in the company’s digital transformation strategy. She highlighted that Batelco is the first operator in Bahrain to roll out a fully accessible eSIM roaming solution, offering users greater control, affordability, and convenience for international travel.

Mattar also emphasized that Voya is perfectly suited for both frequent flyers and occasional travelers who need dependable and flexible communication without the limitations of traditional roaming plans. The launch supports Batelco’s ongoing commitment to lead in smart digital solutions and aligns with Bahrain’s national vision for connected, tech-enabled services.
