The ‘Zoorya’ solution facilitates fast business transactions, ensures transparent operations, and enables secure and contactless business transactions that contributes to the creation of a cashless society

Ethio telecom,  Dashen Bank  and ETTA Solutions  have jointly launched “Zoorya,” a business automation solution that integrates ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), POS (Point of Sale), and Cash Register sytems into a single platform. The solution is tailored for enterprises in sectors such as Hospitality, Import/Export, Manufacturing, and Retail, aimed at significantly modernizing their service delivery, streamlining business operations and workflows, empowering data-driven decision-making, and enhancing overall customer experience and satisfaction.

The ‘Zoorya’ solution facilitates fast business transactions, ensures transparent operations, and enables secure and contactless business transactions that contributes to the creation of a cashless society. It is a homegrown business solution, developed with local expertise to fit Ethiopia’s business landscape and designed to play a significant role in the growth of the nation’s digital economy.

Furthermore, the ‘Zoorya’ business solution is capable of accepting all domestic and international cards and provides a fiscal accounting service certified by the Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues. It also enables merchants to easily manage their resources and obtain a single, consolidated receipt containing all payment information.

The ‘Zoorya’ solution is a pioneering national initiative representing a historic collaboration where the three institutions have played critical roles. ETTA Solutions developed this groundbreaking, integrated business solution, and opened a new chapter for Ethiopia. Where as Ethio telecom, not only hosts the platform on its reliable TeleCloud infrastructure but also integrates it with its telebirr payment system, which has over 54 million customers and it will also lead the promotion and distribution of the solution to merchants across the business sector.

Dashen Bank, a leader in introducing new digital financial services to Ethiopia, facilitates foreign currency provision for the importation of the required machines. Moreover, the bank will offer a “Buy Now, Pay Later” financing model for service providers and will ensure simple payment alternatives by integrating the solution with its own payment services.

Zoorya’ digital automation platform is engineered for rapid deployment, enabling merchants to complete the entire ERP system setup  in under one minute. It is built on a robust cloud architecture, the solution is inherently scalable. This empowers businesses to start with a single branch and seamlessly expand their operations by adding new locations at any time, ensuring the platform grows in lockstep with their business needs.

Over the next two years, the three institutions will collaborate to provide these modern digital solutions to over 10,000 merchants, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and promote financial inclusion, while jointly working to further develop their services.
