Benue Launches Digital Portal to Support Startups and Shape Nigeria’s Tech Ecosystem

The Benue State Government has launched the Benue Start-Up Ecosystem Portal, a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation across the state.

Led by the administration of Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia, the portal is designed to support inventors, developers, and entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas and solutions. It provides access to resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities to help transform concepts into scalable businesses that can compete on a national and global stage.

The platform, developed in collaboration with the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC (BDIC)  and strategic partners, is fully sponsored and accessible to participants within and outside the state. It serves as a central hub for innovation, offering support to individuals seeking to commercialize technology-driven products and services.

This effort aligns with the state’s broader vision to foster digital inclusion, empower youth, and position Benue as a competitive player in Nigeria’s and Africa’s growing tech ecosystem. The launch marks a significant step toward building a sustainable, knowledge-based economy in Benue State.
