While this solution has been successfully deployed in other African markets, its pioneer launch in Kenya is a major milestone in the country’s digital transformation.

In partnership with TouchNet Zadara  AI Sovereign Cloud, an enterprise-grade cloud computing solution, will soon be available and locally hosted at iXAfrica Data Centres , East Africa’s premier hyperscale, AI-ready data centre. While this solution has been successfully deployed in other African markets, its pioneer launch in Kenya is a major milestone in the country’s digital transformation.

TouchNet’s journey started from an agile Business-to-Business Internet Service Provider and evolved today in to a key player in Cloud and Digital Transformation – transforming and leading initiatives in Africa with providing decentralized Sovereign AI Cloud Services to empower and accelerate the enablement of Data Centre providers, Carriers, MSPs, CSPs and ISPs across the continent. Over 300 Business Clients and MSP’s over the past 15 years have experienced TouchNet’s ability to grow, adapt and introduce fit for market commercial models and solutions.

Hosted at iXAfrica’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and carrier-neutral ecosystem at its flagship Nairobi One (NBOX1) campus – and managed by a Service Provider in Kenya, the Zadara AI Sovereign Cloud offers computer, networking, storage, and GPUaaS, all underpinned by world-class security, performance, and compliance. With the increasing demand for reliable cloud infrastructure, the Zadara AI Cloud enables businesses, managed service providers (MSPs), and cloud service providers (CSPs) to optimise operations without the need to rely upon offshore services. The solution is designed to be fit for market, delivering on-demand availability, resilience, and flexibility, and aligns with AI and digital strategy.

The collaboration between iXAfrica in Kenya and TouchNet provides businesses with a predictable, pay-per-use model, ensuring cost efficiency and seamless scalability. By shifting to an operational expenditure (OPEX) model, companies can optimize their IT infrastructure without significant upfront investment, freeing up capital for growth and innovation.

“The launch of this AI-driven cloud solution with TouchNet, Zadara and iXAfrica Data Centre  is more than just a technological advancement – it’s about enabling businesses to operate with greater control, security, and efficiency. Through the partnerships in Kenya, we are committed to providing local enterprises with agile and fit for purpose, fit for market and all the tools and support they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”

Charly Bahous, CEO at TouchNet.

“This partnership ensures energy security, uptime reliability, localized expertise, and 24/7 support — all critical factors for enterprises operating in today’s digital economy. We’re proud to join forces with TouchNet to deliver a truly world-class, sovereign AI cloud solution right here in Kenya. Enterprises across Kenya are demanding infrastructure that is not only powerful, but also dependable and local. This solution meets that need head-on—delivering security, low latency, and full compliance, all within a framework designed to support real business outcomes.”

-Snehar Shah, CEO, iXAfrica.

Recognising the importance of continuous learning, the partnership also includes training and certification programs designed to upskill IT professionals. This will help businesses to not only adopt cutting-edge cloud technology but also to have the knowledge and resources to maximise its potential.
