SMART Zambia Institute and BongoHive Consult Partner to Drive Zambia’s Digital Transformation

In a significant move set to advance Zambia’s digital future, the e-Government Division (SMART Zambia Institute) and BongoHive Consult have officially embarked on a collaborative journey to accelerate the country’s digital transformation agenda. The partnership was cemented during a crucial meeting held yesterday, where both entities explored avenues for cooperation in supporting Zambia’s ambitious e-government goals.
The high-level meeting saw key officials from both organizations in attendance. Representing the SMART Zambia Institute were Mr. Percy Chinyama (National Coordinator), Mr. Kasali Musenge (Government Chief Technology Officer), Mr. Mulomba Hameja (Director – Digital Government Services), and Mr. Daniel Kasapo (Director – Cybersecurity). BongoHive Consult was represented by Mr. Lukonga Lindunda (Executive Director) and Mr. Francis Lombe (Manager – Technology Consulting).
Discussions during the meeting primarily focused on the strategic importance of the upcoming Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) roadmap. Both the SMART Zambia Institute and BongoHive Consult expressed their strong commitment to this partnership, pledging to contribute their respective expertise towards building a more inclusive, efficient, and digitally empowered nation.
