The SMART Zambia Institute  has announced the onboarding of a new cohort of 23 young professionals, reinforcing its commitment to advancing Zambia’s digital transformation agenda and enhancing public service delivery. This initiative aims to bolster the nation’s push towards a digitally empowered future.

Mr. Percy Chinyama, National Coordinator of SMART Zambia, addressed the new recruits, encouraging them to embody the core values of discipline and excellence. He urged them to actively participate and forge robust professional networks that will be invaluable throughout their careers.

“The job market is tough. There are many out there with equal or better qualifications, but this job is yours for a reason. With discipline, excellence, and teamwork, you will thrive and help build a smarter Zambia.”

Mr. Percy Chinyama, National Coordinator, SMART Zambia.

He further highlighted that this program not only supports the government’s overarching e-Government vision but also plays a crucial role in creating job opportunities for young people across the country. The initiative focuses on equipping them with the necessary skills to deliver efficient, technology-driven public services.

These concerted efforts are expected to strengthen service delivery across various sectors, empower the youth, and bring Zambia closer to realizing its vision of a connected and digitally advanced society.
