Sierra Leone appoints Paul Hingha Tucker as Deputy Minister of Communication, Technology and Innovation

With a background in History and nearly a decade of experience in the transport sector, Mr. Tucker expressed his dedication to public service.

The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation  has welcomed Mr. Paul Hingha Tucker as its new Deputy Minister. During his first address, Tucker spoke about his prior admiration for the work of Minister Salima Bah, which he had followed for a considerable time.

He recounted a past meeting with Minister Bah in Kailahun where he approached her to share his ideas for collaboration, describing the moment as a significant connection. He noted that months later, that initial conversation has now culminated in his official appointment to the ministry.

With a background in History and nearly a decade of experience in the transport sector, Mr. Tucker expressed his dedication to public service. He stated that his purpose is to support the Minister and execute the President’s policy agenda for the country.

Concluding his remarks, he praised the visible progress made by the ministry under Minister Bah’s leadership.
