This strategic collaboration aims to coordinate radio-electric frequencies along the two countries' shared border.

The Agency for Regulation of Posts and Electronic Communications (ARPCE)  in Congo recently hosted a technical meeting in Pointe-Noire in preparation for a new agreement with the Angolan Institute of Communications (INACOM) . This strategic collaboration aims to coordinate radio-electric frequencies along the two countries’ shared border.

The meeting brought together technical experts from both regulatory bodies, as well as representatives from telecommunications operators including MTN, Airtel, Congo Telecom, and Angola’s Unitel. The primary goal of the discussions was to harmonize the use of the radio-electric spectrum to prevent cross-border congestion and ensure a high quality of telecommunications services for users on both sides of the border.

Through this initiative, ARPCE is reaffirming its commitment to international cooperation and regulation. By working with its regional counterparts, the agency seeks to ensure the optimal and coordinated management of spectral resources, which is essential for providing reliable and efficient connectivity in the region.
