The program is designed to identify broadband service gaps and provide digital skills training to people in underserved and unserved areas.
The Universal Service Fund (USF) Malawi has launched a Broadband Mapping and Digital Literacy Programme (BMDLP) as part of its efforts to enhance digital skills across the country. The program is designed to identify broadband service gaps and provide digital skills training to people in underserved and unserved areas.
From August 4-8, 2025, the USF conducted regional “Training of Trainers” sessions in four locations: Sunbird Mzuzu (Northern Region), Sunbird Livingstonia (Central Region), Sunbird Nkopola (Eastern Region), and Sunbird Mount Soche (Southern Region). This initiative aims to empower individuals, promote innovation, and increase the adoption of digital tools and resources in Malawi.
