MTN Eswatini CEO Wandile Mtshali to Step Down After Five Years; Jerry J. Soko Appointed Interim CEO
Effective 1 November 2025, Jerry J. Soko, currently General Manager of Commercial and Operations for Southern and East Africa, will serve as Interim CEO while the company searches for a permanent successor.
MTN Group has announced that Wandile Mtshali, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Eswatini, will leave the role on 31 October 2025 to pursue new opportunities.
Mtshali’s 25-year career at MTN has included senior leadership positions across multiple markets. Under his tenure in Eswatini, the business achieved several milestones, including recognition for the best network, top Net Promoter Score, and various industry certifications.
