MTN Launches Cloud Accelerator Program, Offers ₦100M in Grants to African Startups

MTN Nigeria has launched the MTN Cloud Accelerator Program, a new initiative aimed at boosting the growth of early and growth-stage startups in Africa. The program offers successful applicants access to a share of ₦100 million in grants, along with mentorship and powerful integrations designed to help them scale their businesses.
According to Akinbulejo Onabolu, Head of Enterprise Segment at MTN Nigeria, the program provides startups with essential infrastructure from what he calls “Africa’s leading telco turned techco.” The initiative is specifically looking for founders who are “solving real problems on the continent of Africa.”
Interested startups can apply for the program here . The application deadline is August 15, 2025. The MTN Cloud Accelerator Program is presented as a key opportunity for innovators to “build bold and scale fast” in the African tech ecosystem.
