Zimbabwe Commissions Starlink-Equipped Computer Lab to Boost Digital Inclusion in Gokwe South

The facility is equipped with 30 laptops and 5 Starlink kits, representing a significant step toward bridging the digital divide in Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwean Minister of Defence, Cde Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri, on behalf of President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has officially commissioned a new computer laboratory at Dopota Primary School in Gokwe South, Defe.

The facility is equipped with 30 laptops and 5 Starlink kits, representing a significant step toward bridging the digital divide in Zimbabwe.

Hon. Tatenda Mavetera, who accompanied the Minister, reaffirmed the Ministry of ICT’s commitment to ensuring that no learner, community, or region is left behind in the nation’s journey toward Vision 2030. The initiative is part of broader efforts to drive digital inclusion and enable citizens to participate fully in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
