MorClick’s Satellite Internet Brings Connectivity to Remote Communities

August 18, 2025
3 min read

In addition to providing connectivity, MorClick supports the local economy by working with a nationwide network of South African dealers, installers, and support teams.

With some satellite internet providers in South Africa still waiting for a green light from regulators, MorClick  is standing out as a fully licensed and dependable option. The company has been serving remote parts of the country for over a decade, providing a crucial link for thousands of homes, farms, clinics, and businesses. To make its service even more accessible, MorClick has launched a special “Try Us” deal, offering the first 500 new customers three months of service with no strings attached.

MorClick CEO, Kean Pizani, stressed the importance of choosing a licensed provider, highlighting that it’s not just about getting a good connection, but also about legal compliance and peace of mind.

“Connectivity isn’t a luxury anymore; it’s a fundamental necessity for how we learn, access healthcare, run our businesses, and manage our finances. We provide that vital connection through proven satellite technology and a local support team, ensuring our customers stay online reliably.”

Kean Pizani,CEO, MorClick

Pizani also warned consumers about the potential risks of going with unlicensed operators.

“While we welcome competition, consumers need to be aware of the regulatory challenges that unlicensed providers face. Choosing one without the necessary approvals could lead to legal trouble, fines, or even service interruptions. Unlike licensed companies, unlicensed ISPs may not be held to the same standards of accountability, leaving customers vulnerable if something goes wrong. Our licensed status shows our commitment to following the rules, giving our customers the assurance of a reliable, uninterrupted service.”

MorClick’s satellite technology bypasses the need for traditional land-based infrastructure, allowing it to reach areas other providers can’t. While its service isn’t built for activities that require split-second timing, like competitive gaming, it offers a reliable 99.5% uptime and speeds of up to 20 Mbps, making it ideal for essential tasks such as online banking, browsing, and calls.

Pizani was also upfront about the service’s strengths and limitations.

“We are very clear about what we offer. As a GEO satellite provider, we can’t compete with the low latency of mobile networks, so we’re not the right choice for things like high-speed trading or competitive gaming. What we do provide is a dependable connection that works everywhere else in South Africa. For those who need more speed, we also have hardware upgrades available to boost performance.”

In addition to providing connectivity, MorClick supports the local economy by working with a nationwide network of South African dealers, installers, and support teams. This investment in local jobs keeps revenue and opportunities within the country.

“Remote South Africans shouldn’t have to wait for the promise of a connection. They need it now. MorClick is delivering today—fully licensed, tested in tough conditions, and dedicated to keeping even the most isolated communities connected for years to come.”
