MTN Nigeria CEO Karl Toriola Appointed MTN Group Vice President for Francophone Africa
In his expanded role, Toriola will oversee operations in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and Congo Brazzaville, with a mandate to drive growth and strengthen market share across these markets.
MTN Group has announced the appointment of Dr. Karl Olutokun Toriola, CEO of MTN Nigeria , as Vice President for Francophone Africa.
In his expanded role, Toriola will oversee operations in Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Congo Brazzaville, with a mandate to drive growth and strengthen market share across these markets.
The appointment builds on Toriola’s extensive experience within the MTN Group, including previous leadership responsibilities in Francophone Africa. He will continue to serve as CEO of MTN Nigeria while taking on the additional role at the Group level.
MTN Nigeria described the appointment as a recognition of Toriola’s leadership and expertise in advancing the company’s strategic objectives across Africa.
