August 19, 2025

The platform provides a consistent user experience across the bank's app, website, and physical branches, making it a central part of the bank's digital transformation.

Premier Bank Kenya  has entered a new era of digital banking with the launch of its Premier Connect and Premier Tap products. Premier Connect is an omni-channel platform that allows customers to open a bank account in less than five minutes and receive an instant virtual debit card. The platform provides a consistent user experience across the bank’s app, website, and physical branches, making it a central part of the bank’s digital transformation.

The bank also introduced Premier Tap, a wearable payment solution that enables customers to make contactless payments using a variety of accessories such as rings, wristbands, and key fobs. This innovative technology, developed in partnership with Mastercard , provides a convenient and secure alternative to traditional cards and cash, putting the customer at the center of a smart, seamless, and Shariah-compliant banking ecosystem. The bank’s leadership, along with its Digital Innovations & Payments, ICT & Products, and Marketing teams, were instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
