The launch of Tunga Taci Na MTN marks a significant step toward bridging Rwanda’s digital divide, ensuring that more citizens can benefit from mobile connectivity and digital services.

MTN Rwanda  has officially launched Tunga Taci Na MTN, a new initiative in partnership with Yellow , aimed at making smartphones more accessible and affordable for all Rwandans.

Through the programme, customers can own devices from leading brands such as Samsung, Tecno, Itel, and Infinix with an initial payment of just Rwf 16,000, followed by convenient monthly instalments spread over 12 months.

The initiative reflects MTN Rwanda’s commitment to accelerating digital inclusion by enabling more citizens to access smartphones, which serve as vital tools for communication, education, business, and financial services.

“Smartphones are more than just devices, they are gateways to opportunity. We are proud to partner with MTN Rwanda to make these gateways accessible to even more people across the country.”

– Michael Heyink, CEO and Founder, Yellow
