New Rosebank International University College Set to Drive Technology, Research, and Skills Development in Ghana

The Minister expressed the belief that while technology is a great equalizer, it is the human capital behind it that truly drives transformation.

Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Mohammed Adam Sukparu, has praised the inauguration of Rosebank International University College (RIUC), calling it the beginning of a new era for education, technology, and innovation in the country.

He stated that the new academic institution is perfectly aligned with the national goal of building a knowledge-driven economy by focusing on cutting-edge research, digital innovation, and practical skills development. The Minister expressed the belief that while technology is a great equalizer, it is the human capital behind it that truly drives transformation. He added that the university will play a critical role in empowering young people to innovate and create sustainable businesses.

The Ministry has pledged its continued support to RIUC through strategic partnerships, policy frameworks, and innovation-friendly initiatives. Hon. Sukparu urged the students to use the platform provided by the university to find solutions to global issues and become a center of excellence, innovation, and global impact. The Minister concluded by reiterating the Ministry’s firm commitment to a smarter, digital, and prosperous Ghana.
