The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in Egypt has announced the launch of a new training program for recent graduates as part of the Digital Egypt Youth – Career Launch Initiative. The program, run by the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) , is a six-month intensive course designed to train young professionals in the field of telecommunications networks.
The program targets graduates from the last five years in communications and electronics engineering disciplines. It’s structured in three phases to provide a comprehensive skillset. The initial phase focuses on developing essential soft skills and English language proficiency. This is followed by technical training that covers the fundamentals of telecommunication networks, from the global mobile communications system all the way to 5G.
The final phase provides advanced technical training on crucial topics like network monitoring, service continuity, network security, and performance optimization. It also covers modern market technologies, the basics of spectrum management, and planning for contemporary networks. The program offers participants hands-on experience through practical training conducted in collaboration with leading telecommunications companies. This practical approach ensures that graduates are equipped with in-depth knowledge of mobile and core networks and the operational skills necessary for the job market.
