MTN Cameroon has taken a leading role in championing child online safety during the Digital Days event held in Ebolowa, South Region. The event, themed “Youth and Digital: How to Create, Innovate, Dare?”, empowered 300 young participants with knowledge on digital literacy, innovation, and responsible internet use.
Represented by Marie Germaine Ndzie Atedzoe, Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs, MTN Cameroon led an engaging session focused on the risks children face online and the importance of adopting safe digital behaviours. Participants were also introduced to MTN’s reporting portal, a key tool designed to report harmful content and promote safer online spaces.
This initiative forms part of MTN Cameroon’s broader #HelpChildrenBeChildren campaign, underlining the company’s commitment to digital inclusion, child protection, and fostering responsible internet use among young people.
