NTT DATA Names Joe Pace as COO of Global Data Centers
In his new role, Pace will lead the development of global operational functions to enhance scalability, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery for clients worldwide.
NTT DATA , a global leader in digital business and technology services, announced the appointment of Joe Pace as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Global Data Centers division. Based in Sacramento, Calif., Pace will report directly to Doug Adams, President and CEO of NTT Global Data Centers, and succeeds Florian Winkler, who recently departed the company. In his new role, Pace will lead the development of global operational functions to enhance scalability, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery for clients worldwide.
With more than two decades of experience in strategic transformation, capital-intensive portfolios, leading high-performing teams, and program management, Pace brings a proven track record of driving operational excellence. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at NTT Global Data Centers, where he led and executed key strategic initiatives and change management programs across the global organization.

Prior to joining NTT Global Data Centers, Pace – a 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran with multiple command tenures – led infrastructure initiatives with multiple hyperscale providers in data center development and supply chain operations. His appointment underscores NTT Global Data Centers’ commitment to operational transformation and client-centric innovation.
