Zed Mobile Celebrates One Year with One Million Subscribers in Zambia

Zed Mobile has marked its first anniversary by crossing a major milestone: one million subscribers in just twelve months of operation.
The achievement was celebrated at an event attended by Zambia’s Minister of Technology and Science, Hon. Felix Mutati, MP, who praised the company for its rapid growth. He attributed Zed Mobile’s success to innovation, determination, and strategic partnerships, while assuring the government’s continued support in fostering a progressive regulatory environment.

However, the Minister also urged caution, noting the highly competitive nature of the telecommunications industry. He challenged Zed Mobile to remain resilient, develop unique products, and maintain creativity to sustain its growth. “Do not blink; if you blink, you will fall,” he warned.
Looking ahead, key priorities for Zed Mobile include driving innovation, expanding inclusive connectivity to underserved communities, and improving service quality, particularly by addressing dropped calls.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, Zed Mobile hosted a customer appreciation competition, with one subscriber winning a car.
