SA Telco Body Seals MoU with World Broadband Association to Boost Regional Connectivity
The partnership's goal is to strengthen efforts to expand broadband access across the region.
The Southern Africa Telecommunications Association (SATA) and the World Broadband Association (WBBA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement, signed virtually by SATA’s delegated chair, Selby Khuzwayo, establishes a formal collaboration between the two organizations.
The partnership’s goal is to strengthen efforts to expand broadband access across the region. It also aims to harmonize policies and regulations related to telecommunications, which will help to support and grow Africa’s digital economy.
From Openserve’s perspective, this collaboration will unlock new opportunities for the region and help ensure that all citizens benefit from the ongoing digital revolution.
