September 4, 2025
1 min read

The partnership aims to strengthen Namibia’s startup ecosystem by providing founders with the resources and networks needed to build scalable and sustainable businesses.

The Namibia Business Angel Network (NABAN)  has announced a transformative three-year partnership with Bellatrix SME Finance  and Bellatrix Investment Managers, unveiled at the latest edition of the Startup Success Series. The collaboration brings a commitment of N$450,000 to support early-stage innovation in Namibia and establishes Bellatrix Capital as NABAN’s new anchor sponsor.

The partnership aims to strengthen Namibia’s startup ecosystem by providing founders with the resources and networks needed to build scalable and sustainable businesses. Together, NABAN and Bellatrix will host a series of pitch events, Startup Success Series editions, and investor meetups, designed to grow the pipeline of investable ventures.

Beyond events, the collaboration will focus on capacity-building for founders through finance-readiness workshops, mentorship programs, and investor engagement initiatives. The partnership also seeks to increase access to flexible financing instruments tailored to support growth and impact-driven ventures.

Commenting on the initiative, NABAN emphasized that this collaboration reflects a shared belief in the transformative power of smart capital, strong networks, and entrepreneurial courage. As Namibia’s startup ecosystem continues to grow, the partnership is poised to play a key role in shaping the country’s entrepreneurial future.
