By equipping women with both leadership tools and digital expertise, the programme continues to foster inclusive growth, ensuring that women are not only participants but also trailblazers in South Africa’s digital transformation journey.
Huawei South Africa , in partnership with Henley Business School Africa , has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its Women in Tech Digital Skills Training Programme, empowering 40 women entrepreneurs and senior government leaders to thrive in the fast-evolving digital economy.
Since its inception in 2021, the Huawei Women in Tech initiative has grown into a dynamic incubator for women eager to embrace technology. To date, more than 300 participants have completed the programme, which blends hands-on leadership training with exposure to the latest digital innovations.
This year’s graduating group brought together women business owners and senior officials from key government institutions, including the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL), the Department of Small Business Development (DSBD), and the Department of Digital Technologies (DCDT).
By equipping women with both leadership tools and digital expertise, the programme continues to foster inclusive growth, ensuring that women are not only participants but also trailblazers in South Africa’s digital transformation journey.
