The unveiling of the Digital Triangle Project, a dedicated artificial intelligence zone, and the Green AI Alliance highlighted Oman's forward-looking approach to technology.

At the major technology showcase COMEX 2025 in Muscat, Oman officially announced a series of ambitious initiatives to accelerate its digital transformation, underscoring its commitment to a future driven by artificial intelligence and digital innovation. The event, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, served as a platform to unveil key projects and collaborations designed to align with the country’s strategic goals under Oman Vision 2040.

The unveiling of the Digital Triangle Project, a dedicated artificial intelligence zone, and the Green AI Alliance highlighted Oman’s forward-looking approach to technology. The conference also saw the signing of new agreements worth an estimated RO 42 million, signaling strong investor confidence in the nation’s burgeoning digital economy. These investments build on a track record of successful deals, including those signed at previous events.

Further demonstrating its digital push, Oman launched new online services, including 30 new additions to its Unified Digital Services Portal and the introduction of its first home-grown AI language model, “Maeen.” The event, which attracted over 140 start-ups and 200 companies, also showcased the country’s progress in developing sectors such as semiconductors, data centers, and the space industry, with a focus on Omani talent. The overall message from COMEX 2025 is that Oman is actively working to build a sustainable, technology-led economy and is committed to leveraging innovation to achieve its national vision.
