Telecom Namibia has announced the successful restoration of services in Tsumeb, Oshakati, and surrounding areas following a significant network disruption that affected both fixed and mobile data connections.
The disruption, which began on 8 September 2025, left many customers in the affected regions without access to telecom services. The company assured the public that its technical teams were working urgently to resolve the issue and apologized for the inconvenience caused.
By 9 September 2025, Telecom Namibia confirmed that services had been fully restored. The company expressed appreciation for customer patience during the outage and reiterated its commitment to delivering reliable communication services.
Customers who may still be experiencing connectivity issues have been advised to contact the company’s Customer Contact Centre at 11000 for further assistance.
