Liberia Reviews National ICT Policy to Drive Digital Transformation

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Liberia  convened a high-level dialogue with stakeholders on Tuesday to review and refine the country’s National ICT Policy, reaffirming its commitment to building a digitally empowered nation.

The session brought together industry leaders, experts, and development partners to discuss strategies for strengthening Liberia’s digital ecosystem. Discussions focused on broadband expansion, cybersecurity, digital inclusion, and regulatory frameworks, with the aim of aligning national policies with global standards while addressing the country’s specific needs.

Officials described the consultations as vital for advancing digital transformation, enhancing connectivity, and creating a robust foundation for innovation. Participants shared insights on how ICT can drive economic growth, improve service delivery, and foster inclusivity across Liberia.
