The announcement was made during a joint session co-chaired by the Minister of Digital Transition, Postal and Electronic Communications, Dr. Aminata Zerbo/Sabane, and the Minister of Secondary Education, Dr. Boubacar Savadogo.
PACTDIGITAL’s support focuses on several priority areas, including updating the telecom and ICT training curriculum to align with labor market needs, creating an e-learning platform, strengthening local expertise in multimedia content production for education, and equipping the scientific high schools of Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso with digital infrastructure.

During the meeting, participants discussed the project’s objectives and clarified the expectations of education stakeholders. The ministers emphasized the importance of resource optimization, effective coordination, and the selection of activities with long-term structural impact.
To ensure proper follow-up, the session concluded with recommendations for establishing coordination committees that will oversee the implementation of PACTDIGITAL’s initiatives within the education sector.
