Egypt Launches CIT Career Initiative to Train 200 Graduates in Digital Skills
By equipping young people with advanced digital competencies, the initiative aligns with Egypt’s broader vision of building a competitive digital economy and workforce.

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) , in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s Institutional Development Sector and leading local and international companies, has launched the “Digital Egypt Youth – CIT Career Launch” initiative.
The six-month program is designed to prepare a new generation of skilled professionals in critical fields including cybersecurity, DevOps engineering, and communication engineering. More than 2,238 graduates from Egyptian universities applied for the program, with only 200 selected after a rigorous interview process.
Orientation Day for the selected interns was held at the NTI headquarters in Smart Village. The event was attended by Engineer Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister of Communications for Institutional Development, Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Institute of Communications, and representatives from partner companies supporting the initiative.
The program provides participants with technical training, international certifications, and hands-on industry projects to strengthen their employability in both local and global markets. By equipping young people with advanced digital competencies, the initiative aligns with Egypt’s broader vision of building a competitive digital economy and workforce.
