MTN Business South Africa has launched the 2025 edition of its Women in Digital Business Challenge, an annual flagship initiative designed to empower youth and women-owned ICT businesses.
Now in its fourth year, the programme will continue to support 10 women and youth-led ICT enterprises with a total of R1 million in funding. Each finalist will receive R100,000 in working capital, along with mentorship and business support to help scale their ventures.
MTN Business highlighted the initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering inclusivity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the digital economy. The company has partnered with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) to celebrate and support young innovators and women entrepreneurs who are driving change in South Africa’s technology sector.
By providing both financial and developmental support, the Women in Digital Business Challenge aims to strengthen the pipeline of sustainable, diverse businesses contributing to the country’s digital transformation.
