The Assembly, hosted in Seoul, South Korea, brought together more than 148 Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) and other organizations from 95 countries. Discussions centered on the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Our Daily Lives: Data and Privacy Issues,” reflecting the growing influence of AI technologies on personal data governance and privacy rights.
Beyond the main sessions, the NDPC also engaged in bilateral meetings with key stakeholders, focusing on strengthening international collaboration, exchanging best practices, and reviewing legal and regulatory frameworks.
