By endorsing the UPU Acts, Kenya reaffirms its commitment to advancing international cooperation in modernising postal and courier services.

Kenya has formally ratified the Acts of the 28th Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress during a signing ceremony held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The signing was led by Hon. William Kabogo, Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, alongside senior government officials and diplomats.

Present at the event were Steve Isaboke, Principal Secretary in the State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications; H.E. Kenneth Milimo Nganga, Kenya’s Ambassador to the UAE; and Lydia Sitienei, Director of Legal Services at the Communications Authority of Kenya.

By endorsing the UPU Acts, Kenya reaffirms its commitment to advancing international cooperation in modernising postal and courier services. The move is expected to strengthen the country’s role in facilitating trade, accelerating e-commerce growth, and promoting broader socio-economic inclusion through an efficient and globally aligned postal system.
