The startup also aims to drive digital inclusion by creating jobs, improving access to services, and empowering local communities through technology.

Moroccan tech startup DONE  has secured a $2.1 million Seed funding round to accelerate the development of the country’s first super app. The investment, backed by local investors and business angels, marks a significant milestone for the young company and signals growing confidence in Morocco’s ability to produce regionally competitive digital platforms.

Founded in 2024, DONE has rapidly expanded operations, now live in eight regions across Morocco with a team of over 90 employees, more than 1,000 restaurant and retail partners, and a network of 500 delivery ambassadors.

Following an initial $600,000 founders’ round, the new Seed funding will fuel DONE’s next phase of growth, which includes expanding into more than 10 major cities, scaling logistics and infrastructure, and advancing its product roadmap with new features such as a marketplace, quick commerce, digital wallet, BNPL services, and DONE-branded stores.

The startup also aims to drive digital inclusion by creating jobs, improving access to services, and empowering local communities through technology.

DONE’s growth comes as the super app market in MENA and Africa is projected to exceed $30 billion by 2030, positioning Morocco as a key player in the continent’s digital transformation.

“This milestone fuels our mission of building from Morocco, for Moroccans first — and for Africa next,” the company said in a statement.
