Kenya Launches Fully Sponsored Tech Training for Youth in Mumias East
The initiative targets 100 young people, equipping them with practical skills in tech programming, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship to enhance their employability and participation in the digital economy.

The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy (MICDE) , through the ICT Authority, has partnered with the Tech Talent Hub Foundation to roll out a fully sponsored three-month Tech Talent Training program in Mumias East, Kakamega County.
The initiative targets 100 young people, equipping them with practical skills in tech programming, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship to enhance their employability and participation in the digital economy.
According to the organizers, the program is open to all youth and community members with an interest in digital skills. Participants must commit to the full three-month training, which will be conducted physically at the Tech Talent Hub in Mumias East.
Applications are currently open for interested candidates.
