The presentation outlined Morocco’s efforts to strengthen its position as a regional leader in digital transformation, guided by the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy.
On September 20, 2025, the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform presented the country’s digital vision at the “Ten Geopolitical Meetings” held in Truville-sur-Mer, France. The international event gathered researchers, policymakers, media representatives, and other stakeholders to discuss global challenges.
The presentation outlined Morocco’s efforts to strengthen its position as a regional leader in digital transformation, guided by the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy. This strategy focuses on expanding digital services for citizens, supporting businesses, and driving national development.
Morocco is also preparing a new legal framework, “Management 2.0,” in collaboration with the National Data Protection Commission (CNDP), the Directorate General for Information Systems Security (DGSSI), and the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN). The framework is intended to modernize public administration and provide greater access to digital governance tools for citizens and enterprises.
At the continental level, Morocco emphasized its contribution to Africa’s digital future, particularly through initiatives in digitalization and artificial intelligence.
In addition, Morocco will officially launch the Digital Morocco for Sustainable Development (D4SD) initiative next week at the 8th session of the United Nations General Assembly in partnership with the UN Development Programme (UNDP). The initiative aims to establish Morocco as an Arab-African digital hub with global outreach.
