MTC Namibia Signs MoU with Namibia Tourism Board to Drive Digital Transformation in Tourism

Through this collaboration, MTC and NTB aim to accelerate the digital transformation of Namibia’s tourism sector, providing innovative tools that enrich visitor experiences while supporting the industry’s long-term growth.

MTC Namibia  has formalized a strategic partnership with the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB ) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Friday, 19 September 2025.

The agreement will see NTB leverage MTC’s advanced technologies, including 5G, eSIM, Wi-Fi hotspots, mobile applications, and VR/AR solutions, to enhance service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen Namibia’s global appeal as a premier travel destination.

Through this collaboration, MTC and NTB aim to accelerate the digital transformation of Namibia’s tourism sector, providing innovative tools that enrich visitor experiences while supporting the industry’s long-term growth.

The partnership underscores MTC’s commitment to expanding the role of technology in national development and aligns with Namibia’s broader vision to modernize its key economic sectors.
