Since its launch in 2022, the ACE programme has trained 188 participants, with 21 graduates already securing positions at MTN Uganda across various departments.

MTN Uganda , through the MTN Uganda Foundation,  has graduated 103 young people from the second cohort of its flagship MTN ACE Initiative, a programme dedicated to boosting employability and nurturing digital, business, and entrepreneurial skills among Uganda’s youth.

Since its launch in 2022, the ACE programme has trained 188 participants, with 21 graduates already securing positions at MTN Uganda across various departments. Others have gone on to establish businesses, contribute to innovation, and play an active role in advancing Uganda’s economic growth.

With over 75% of Uganda’s population under the age of 30, initiatives such as MTN ACE are seen as pivotal in addressing youth unemployment while also supporting the country’s digital transformation agenda.

The graduation was made possible through partnerships with the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance,  National Career Guidance Shows, MUBS Entrepreneurship Centre,  Centenary Technology Services,  Engage Consulting, National ICT Innovation Hub , and MTN MoMo Uganda.

MTN Uganda described the milestone as “more than a graduation,” emphasizing its role in building the nation’s human capital and empowering a generation of innovators and leaders.
