UDSM Donates Computers to Nyeburu Secondary to Boost STEM Learning

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has donated computers to Nyeburu Secondary School in Dar es Salaam as part of its efforts to advance education, innovation, and national development.
During the handover, UDSM’s Head of Communication and Marketing, Dr. Dotto Paul Kuhenga, said the initiative aligns with the University’s outreach programmes aimed at promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, fostering practical learning, and strengthening community engagement.
Nyeburu Secondary School’s Headmistress, Ms. Mamwi Mgendi Mbaga, together with student leaders, expressed deep appreciation, noting that the donation would enhance digital skills, inspire innovation, and nurture the next generation of scientists and technologists.
The event also featured remarks from DARUSO President, Mr. William Emmanuel, who encouraged students to remain disciplined and aim high so they could one day join UDSM.
