The new card is part of EBank’s wider strategy to cement its role as a leading player in Egypt’s banking sector while diversifying services to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

The Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBank)  has introduced its latest offering — the World MasterCard credit card — with credit limits reaching up to EGP 2 million. The launch reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative financial products that enhance convenience and value for its customers both locally and internationally.

The new card is part of EBank’s wider strategy to cement its role as a leading player in Egypt’s banking sector while diversifying services to meet the evolving needs of its clients. Emphasizing innovation and premium quality, the World MasterCard comes with a wide range of features and lifestyle perks.

Cardholders will benefit from complimentary access to more than 1,300 airport lounges across 135 countries through the MasterCard Travel Pass app, flexible installment options at competitive interest rates, and zero-interest installment offers. In addition, customers will enjoy discounts and exclusive deals with global retailers, restaurants, and online platforms, alongside special privileges on hotel bookings, car rentals, healthcare, and educational services.

The card also allows issuance of up to four supplementary cards for family members and features one of the market’s most competitive rewards programs, with high cashback redemption rates. Enhanced security is provided through 3D Secure technology for safe online transactions.

The launch comes on the back of EBank’s strong financial performance. The bank posted a net profit of EGP 2.605 billion for the first half of 2025, up from EGP 2.316 billion in the same period last year, underscoring its solid growth trajectory.
