Designed for anyone curious—students, parents, or lifelong learners—AfriGPT works on any phone connected to the Africell network, without requiring internet or mobile data.

Africell Angola  has launched AfriGPT, the country’s first AI-powered service accessible via SMS and USSD, offering intelligent answers to questions about school subjects, everyday tips, culture, science, technology, and more. Designed for anyone curious—students, parents, or lifelong learners—AfriGPT works on any phone connected to the Africell network, without requiring internet or mobile data.

The service offers flexible subscription plans: Daily for Kz 30, Weekly for Kz 90, and Monthly for Kz 300, all inclusive of 14% IVA. Activation is simple; users can subscribe by sending an SMS with “DIA,” “SEMANA,” or “MES” to 19321, or by dialing *321# to select a plan. Once active, questions can be submitted via SMS or the USSD menu for quick and intelligent responses. New users receive one day of free use.

AfriGPT provides a variety of benefits, including homework and school subject support, everyday tips, cultural and historical facts, science and technology insights, and basic language learning assistance. The service is automatically set to renew if sufficient balance is available, and subscriptions can be canceled at any time via SMS or USSD.

This launch marks a significant step in digital innovation for Angola, enabling widespread access to AI-powered knowledge for all users, regardless of device type or internet connectivity.
