Egypt Launches New Digital Justice Projects to Accelerate Transformation

In line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to digitize state institutions, Egypt has unveiled a new wave of digital projects for the Ministry of Justice. The initiatives were officially launched by Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT ) Amr Talaat and Minister of Justice Adnan Al-Fangari during a major ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The event brought together senior judicial leaders, including the President of the Court of Cassation and Supreme Judicial Council Assem El-Ghaish, Public Prosecutor Mohamed Shawky, President of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority Hussein Madkour, and President of the Administrative Prosecution Authority Mohamed El-Shenawy. Officials from MCIT, the Ministry of Justice, judicial bodies, and representatives of partner technology companies were also in attendance.

The newly launched projects include:

• A revamped digital portal for the Ministry of Justice offering expanded citizen services.

• First-ever inquiry services for data from marriage and church registrars.

• An authentication services portal, providing citizens with details of notarization offices, procedures, and required documents.

• An interactive map of justice locations, covering courts, real estate registration offices, and prosecution branches.

• Remote translation of official documents via the Ministry’s portal.

• A judicial enforcement e-service for administrative authorities.

• A healthcare app for judicial employees.

• A new Ministry of Justice mobile app, expanding access to healthcare, the legal encyclopedia, and judicial inspection services.

• Digitalization of dispute reconciliation committees (Phase One).

• An updated legal encyclopedia with advanced search capabilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, MCIT Minister Talaat said the projects represent a breakthrough in building “Digital Egypt’s justice system,” where technology enhances accessibility and efficiency while preserving the dignity and authority of the judiciary. He emphasized that the initiatives integrate three key pillars: citizen services, judicial empowerment tools, and government-to-government digital platforms.

Justice Minister Al-Fangari highlighted that the projects reflect innovation and modernization, stressing his Ministry’s commitment to simplifying citizens’ access to justice while empowering judicial authorities. He underlined that digital transformation is central to Egypt’s broader renaissance led by President El-Sisi, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and stronger societal trust.

The ceremony concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields and recognition of the joint teams and companies that developed the projects.
