Guinea’s TELEMO Project Achieves Over 90% Operational Milestone
Through TELEMO, the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy reaffirmed its commitment to promoting modern, transparent, and effective digital governance in service of Guinea’s economic and social development.
On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy, Mrs. Rose Pola Pricemou, participated in a meeting of the TELEMO project Steering Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, Head of Government, alongside members of the COPIL.
The session provided an update on the progress of the TELEMO project, which has been designated as one of the 28 priority projects under the Simandou 2040 Programme. Discussions highlighted the project’s significant achievements and the next steps required to advance Guinea’s digital transformation agenda.
Minister Pricemou emphasized that more than 90% of TELEMO’s modules are now operational. This milestone enables economic actors to access transition plans online, view tenders, submit bids, and follow the entire process until contracts are signed—marking a new era of efficiency and transparency in public procurement.
