MTN SA, NMF & Ride4Hope Deliver Digital Classrooms in Soweto

The initiative underscores MTN’s continued commitment to closing the education gap through sustainable, purpose-driven partnerships that empower learners and educators with the tools they need to succeed in a digital world.

MTN South Africa,  in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation  and the Ride4Hope Foundation ,  has taken another significant step in advancing digital education by handing over three fully furnished, digitally enabled classrooms and a state-of-the-art computer lab to Hitekani Primary School in Soweto.

The initiative underscores MTN’s continued commitment to closing the education gap through sustainable, purpose-driven partnerships that empower learners and educators with the tools they need to succeed in a digital world.

“Progress begins in the classroom, and each classroom is a doorway to possibility,” the company stated, reaffirming its belief that technology and education are essential to unlocking opportunities and driving long-term social impact.

Through this collaboration, MTN South Africa continues to invest in education, connectivity, and digital literacy, building bridges to a brighter and more inclusive future for South African youth.
