Vodacom Moçambique Launches First 4G Touch Phone to Drive Digital Inclusion

Vodacom Moçambique has announced a major milestone in its mission to drive digital inclusion across the country with the launch of the Digit 4G Z1, the first touch phone with 4G capability available in Mozambique.
Described by the company as “more than a launch, a giant step towards digital inclusion,” the new device represents a significant advancement in making modern technology and high-speed Internet more accessible to Mozambicans.
Developed in partnership with Digit, the Digit 4G Z1 aims to bring affordable connectivity to wider communities, aligning with Vodacom’s broader commitment to bridging the digital divide.
The device is available for 1,499 MT in all WIC Vodacom stores, and will soon roll out to all Vodacom retail locations nationwide.
