Nigeria Launches Digital Trustmark Initiative to Strengthen Online Safety and Transparency

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the launch of the Nigerian Digital Trustmark Initiative, a major step toward enhancing trust and safety in the country’s digital ecosystem. During a press conference, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, described the initiative as a forward-looking move by the Federal Government to strengthen Nigeria’s digital economy by ensuring that digital interactions and transactions are secure, transparent, and reliable.
