Lusaka Telecom Solutions Celebrated for Advancing Africa’s Digital Transformation

Lusaka Telecom Solutions (LTS)  has been honored with the Digital Infrastructure Pioneer of the Year award at the 2025 Zambia Ecommerce Awards (ERITE Awards). The recognition marks a major milestone for the company, highlighting its vital role in driving technological growth and digital transformation across Zambia and the African continent.

Over the years, LTS has evolved from modest beginnings into a major telecommunications force employing more than 850 people. The company’s mission centers on connecting people, empowering communities, and fostering digital innovation to advance Africa’s technological future. This latest accolade reinforces that commitment, positioning LTS as a leading figure in Africa’s evolving digital landscape.

The award was accepted by Country Manager Ahmed Mohamed Abdelhameed, who dedicated the honor to the company’s employees, clients, and partners for their dedication and belief in the company’s vision. LTS was also represented at the awards ceremony by several key team members, including Elizabeth Nachivula (Marketing Officer), Kaps Banda Kapulula Banda (Key Sales Account Officer), Mwangala Lusa (PM Coordinator), Gerald Dube (Nokia Active), Catherine Malambo (Pre-Sales Executive), and Gilbert Chintu (Health & Safety Manager).

The recognition serves as a testament to LTS’s ongoing efforts to expand digital connectivity and infrastructure across Africa. The company reaffirmed its mission to continue pushing boundaries and advancing digital inclusion, innovation, and connectivity for a brighter technological future on the continent.
