NTI Strengthens Egypt’s AI Readiness with 1,895 New Ambassadors for Technological Innovation
The AI Ambassadors Program stands as Egypt’s largest initiative dedicated to training non-specialists in artificial intelligence, aiming to spread AI awareness and integration across various professional sectors.
The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has celebrated the graduation of 1,895 interns from the fourth batch of the “Artificial Intelligence Ambassadors” program, held in cooperation with the Engineers for Sustainable Egypt Foundation. The ceremony took place at NTI’s headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, with the participation of Professor Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the Institute, Eng. Mohammed Kamel, President of the Foundation, and several officials and leaders from both organizations.
The AI Ambassadors Program stands as Egypt’s largest initiative dedicated to training non-specialists in artificial intelligence, aiming to spread AI awareness and integration across various professional sectors. The program empowers participants to utilize AI technologies to enhance efficiency, innovation, and problem-solving in their respective workplaces.
Each training cycle consists of 36 hours of interactive sessions and an additional 4 hours per week over a full month dedicated to a practical application project, allowing participants to apply AI principles to real-world scenarios. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of AI, data analysis, ethics, challenges, and future trends, helping graduates understand both the technical and ethical dimensions of the technology.
Since its inception, the AI Ambassadors program has trained a total of 5,005 participants, reflecting Egypt’s growing commitment to digital literacy and capacity building in the field of artificial intelligence. The initiative aligns with the country’s national strategy to promote technological innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development, preparing a workforce capable of leveraging AI as a key driver of progress in the public and private sectors.
