Huawei and ICT Authority Launch Digital Skills Training in Siaya

Huawei, in partnership with the ICT Authority, has launched a five-day digital skills training program at the Siaya Community Digital Hub as part of ongoing efforts to empower youth with essential digital competencies.
The training, titled “Integrated Network Cabling & Huawei HCIA Datacom Fundamentals,” is designed to equip young people with practical knowledge and technical expertise in modern network infrastructure and data communication systems. The initiative supports Kenya’s broader goal of building a digital superhighway by developing a workforce capable of supporting and maintaining advanced ICT networks across the country.
Through this hands-on program, participants will gain skills relevant to both local and global digital economies, enhancing their employability and preparing them for careers in information technology, telecommunications, and digital infrastructure development.
