Gabon’s Ministry of Digital Economy Continues Laptop Distribution to Empower Youth

This initiative, launched under the leadership of His Excellency, President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, seeks to equip Gabonese youth with modern digital tools that facilitate access to education, enhance learning capabilities, and promote equal opportunities.

The Ministry of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation  has announced the continuation of the official laptop handover ceremony for new high school graduates and students who have not yet collected their devices. The event will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m., on the Esplanade of the Baie des Rois in Libreville.

This initiative, launched under the leadership of His Excellency, President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, seeks to equip Gabonese youth with modern digital tools that facilitate access to education, enhance learning capabilities, and promote equal opportunities.

The ceremony will be presided over by the Minister of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation and forms part of the government’s broader strategy to advance digital inclusion and youth empowerment across Gabon.

Alongside the device distribution, interactive and educational sessions will be organized to inspire beneficiaries and encourage their active participation in Gabon’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.

The Ministry extended its congratulations to all recipients and urged all eligible high school graduates and students who have not yet received their laptops to attend the event for the official handover of their equipment.
