By investing in its people and strengthening technical expertise, NIGCOMSAT continues to reinforce its leadership role in Nigeria’s satellite communications and broadcast ecosystem, positioning itself to meet the growing demands of digital transformation across the continent.

The Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT)  has announced the launch of its Broadcast Ecosystem Skills Enhancement Programme, a two-week intensive training initiative designed to boost technical expertise and operational excellence within its broadcast team.

The programme, developed in collaboration with the NTA Television College in Jos and facilitated through the NTA Network News, focuses on Digital Satellite, Microwave, and Radio Frequency (RF) Technologies. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of emerging broadcast technologies and enhance NIGCOMSAT’s service delivery standards.

According to the company, the training is part of its ongoing commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and human capital development — values that are central to its mission of connecting Nigeria and the world through advanced satellite communications. NIGCOMSAT emphasized that the programme is not only a technical training exercise but a strategic empowerment initiative designed to equip staff with the skills required to thrive in a rapidly evolving broadcast environment.

The organization also highlighted the importance of partnerships in advancing capacity building within Nigeria’s digital and satellite sectors, extending appreciation to the NTA Headquarters for its collaboration and support.

By investing in its people and strengthening technical expertise, NIGCOMSAT continues to reinforce its leadership role in Nigeria’s satellite communications and broadcast ecosystem, positioning itself to meet the growing demands of digital transformation across the continent.
